Off the Map is a 39-part travel series created exclusively for women.  In each episode of this inspiring series, we follow a normal, everyday woman as she becomes an adventurer and explorer.  Taking viewers off the beaten track to some of the most forbidding and wildly untraditional places on earth.  Off the Map follows these vibrant, fearless women as they trek through the jungles of Guyana, explore skull caves in Papua New Guinea, or dance with Sherpas in Nepal.  Tales of ordinary women and their extraordinary adventures.  Off the Map has aired in Canada, the United States, France, Spain, Italy, Japan, United Arab Emirates, Poland, Australia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary.

1  Arizona (USA)

​Susan Hayden visits Navajo descendants and learns about living on the Mesa.  Follow her to the heights of the Grand Canyon and view ancient petroglyphs found in Canyon de Chelly.  Visit Monument Valley and view the stone structures rising up from the valley floor.

2  Baffin Island (Canada)

​Maureen Magee journeys by snowmobile to Baffin Island in Canada's Arctic.  Join her as she crosses a frozen ocean and tundra, discovers a century old whaler's grave, and swaps stories with an Inuit family.

3  Bolivia

​Joan Atkins visits mountain villages and gets caught up in holiday celebrations, trying on hats of many colours and sizes in Bolivia.  Join her as she takes a ride across Lake Titicaca to look for the mythical Fountain of Youth.

4  Botswana

​Tinchie Stoyan searches for the last of the bushmen in Botswana.  Join her as she travels by safari into an African game park, flies by ultralight aircraft over the Victoria Falls, and explores the surrounding hills of San bushmen.

Cathy Merriman treks along overgrown jungle trails to an Indian village in Ecuador.  Join her as she receives a shaman's blessing and learns about traditional and natural medicines found in the rainforest.

10  Finland

​Emelia Premph journeys north to Lapland to learn of the 6000 Sami people left in Finland and their vanishing way of life.  Join her as she camps in a typical Sami dwelling and goes cross-country skiing to ice fish for her dinner.

13  Gambia

​Arlene Harrison follows the trail of slave traders to James Island and a fortress built in 1651.  Join her in a canoe as she learns the names and sounds of some of the 700 species of birds found in Gambia's game reserves.

​Mary Bray travels to one of the world's highest waterfalls in Guyana.  Join her as she treks through malaria infested jungles and pans for gold and diamonds in this resource rich country.

​Tamara Kure pursues the last of the nomads in the deserts of Morocco.  Share her adventure as she bargains at the market, becomes an unwilling snake charmer in Marrakech and treks by camel amid a sand storm.
