In the 90's, I flew with Anne Marsh to Jordan with two complimentary tickets from Royal Jordanian Airlines (Toronto to Amman). On arrival, we partnered with Royal Tours which provided a complementary guide, complimentary or low cost accommodation, and local transportation. At the time, Jordan wanted to raise its profile internationally as a safe destination for tourism. Prior to departure, we completed thorough research on locations in Jordan we wish to film. Over a ten day period, we visited the locations marked in red on the map below. Segments of the program -- Rock Art, Camel Ride, Bedouin Homestay, Ancient Map, and Petra -- are linked to the approximate location where they were filmed. Post production took place in Canada.
