In the 90's, I travelled with Thara Pillai to Ghana with two complimentary tickets from Ghana Airways (New York to Accra). On arrival, we partnered with Unglobe M&J Travel & Tours which provided a complementary guide and local transportation. Golden Tulip Hotel provide us with complimentary accommodation in Accra. Prior to departure, we completed thorough research on locations in Ghana we wish to film. Over a ten day period, we drove to the locations marked in red on the map below. Segments of the program -- Fetish Market, Boat Ride, Drum Lesson, Coffin Shop, Game, Carrying Baskets, Dance, Fishing, Rope Bridge, and Kids -- are linked to the approximate location where they were filmed. Post production took place in Canada.
