​​​​In the 90's, I travelled with Hope Beverstein with two complimentary tickets from Turkish Airlines (Toronto to Istanbul).  On arrival, we partnered with Credo Tours which provided a complementary guide, complimentary or low cost accommodation, and local transportation.  Prior to departure, we completed thorough research on locations in Turkey we wish to film.  Over a ten day period, we travelled to the locations marked in red on the map below.  Segments of the program -- Market, Beehive Houses, Henna, Old Woman, Weaving, Ancient Ruins, Prayer, The Ark, Silk Road, Old Man, Cappadocia, Old City, Massage, Entertainment -- are linked to the approximate location where they were filmed.  Post production took place in Canada when we returned.

The Complete Program

1 Hope and her guide Raihad visit the covered market where she bargains for a handbag.
